Lately...

I’m snowed under with work at the moment, so haven’t had time to update recently. I’m desperately trying to finish Trouble Brewing, the follow up novel to Forecast, but other projects keep taking precedence. The film version of Forecast now has a director attached (Jasmine Yuen Carrucan who directed Cactus) so I’ve been polishing the screenplay for her. Plus I’m producing a couple of documentaries… passion projects really. On top of all that I’ve been working on a MAJOR project with my partner… Something new and exciting… more news on that later. Unfortunately one must eat, so all these wonderful projects are often pushed to one side while I do “real work” which is writing educational books for children in Asian markets. At the moment I’m contracted to write twenty-four stories for a Korean publisher over the next three months. I’d rather hammer nails into my hands than write stories that teach kids about verbs and nouns… But ya gotta pay the bills.

The 24 stories? Its not really that bad.

Imagine waitressing to pay the bills.

I'd happily do illustrations for pesky verbs and nouns readers for a Korean publisher. I really would. You're welcome to tell them about me. ha ha ha
